About Me

I am an experienced executive and organizational coach with over 20 years of leadership experience across all levels of government. I guide leaders to achieve transformational change by aligning vision, strategy, governance and leadership capabilities to deliver measurable results.

I have 20 years of public service experience, including multiple Executive Director roles in diverse sectors including finance, justice, natural resources, and Indigenous relations.

My Approach

As a coach, my focus is on helping leaders get the results their organizations need, while attending to their personal leadership challenges. 

I help leaders understand their role within larger organizational systems, enabling them to delegate effectively, share responsibility appropriately, and navigate complexity with greater ease and authenticity.

I'm uniquely skilled at helping leaders find intentional ways to care for themselves as individuals while meeting the demands of their leadership roles.

Our coaching partnership begins with understanding what's important to you and setting clear goals for what you want to achieve. After an initial discovery conversation, we will create a focused engagement designed around your specific leadership challenges.

Each session, we will focus on the concrete actions you can take to improve your performance and deliver measurable business results.

While every leader faces unique challenges, the underlying patterns are often similar. My role is to help you identify what is getting in the way, and discovering root causes or patterns of behaviour that might be holding you back.

My Journey to Coaching

Early on in my career as a public service leader, I was daunted by the complexity of the work environment and the challenges of leadership. The weight of responsibility felt overwhelming, and I carried the burden of my organization's challenges on my shoulders. At the same time, I was curious and determined to make systemic changes. I just needed to learn how.

Support from mentors and coaches helped me improve my performance and transformed my entire approach to leadership. I learned to separate myself from the challenges I faced, which helped me to think more clearly and act more effectively. I learned how to build emotional resilience and gain perspective on difficult situations. I became a more grounded and confident leader who came to see new challenges as opportunities for growth.
